You will find the Phoenix Dusseldorf 15 minutes walk from the central train station, in the suburb Flingern-Süd – right on Hermannplatz. The Phoenix is on the ground floor of a residential apartment building. In the evening, the “Phoenix” sign lights the way for lonely strangers in the night. Through the large, blue-grey steel door you will step into the small entrance area. After paying the entry fee, a short time later you will be standing in front of around 120 changing lockers.

Pullovers, jeans, shoes, coats, decorations and medals – the trimmings of the everyday are left in the locker. With only a towel around you, the path leads straight ahead to the showers. You’ll leave the bar, for now, on your right.

You will be observed by our goldfish through all this; they, however, are sworn to secrecy.
You want to really sweat? Okay! The Finnish Sauna offers temperatures of around 850C. On our legendary spa days on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, however, our sauna meister doesn’t mind turning up the heat a few degrees more.

A “fresh-air” bath is recommended in the form of a walk in the small courtyard, right next to the Finnish Sauna.

You will find the steam sauna in the two grey, glass mosaic towers. The most interesting wet area in the Phoenix – according to our guests. So: Try it!

Just around the corner, you will find our spa bath, accompanied by a waterfall. A comfortable water temperature of 330C, and millions of small air bubbles streaming into the water, invite you to relax here and submit to your dreams.
On the basement level, a host of opportunities for play lie in wait for you. You really shouldn’t miss it. Along the lines of the motto, “discover and be discovered,” here there are numerous places, spaces and attractions which make a stay worthwhile.
